Our Roadmap



Smart Cities Mediterranean Partnership was founded in May 2014
based on a plan that was submitted as a
Project/Commitment 4817
to the European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities (EIP-SCC)
in response to a call for projects/commitments
issued by EIP-SCC in February 2014.

What is next ?





Strategy



Revise the Strategic Plan.


- Establish the Smart Cities Mediterranean Partnership as a non for profit organization.

- Plan to build the SMART-MED commercial arm which can help cities to plan their future development and projects in line with the EU 2020 Strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.
Projects can be developed for cities utilizing EU funds through related funding instruments
for smart urban growth and sustainable redevelopment.

Identify and select organizations from the SMART-MED Cluster to form a solid partnership and prepare for the forthcoming funding opportunities for Smart Cities and Communities





Meeting of partners



Organize the next meeting of partners to discuss the strategic plan and future opportunities.

Organize the 4th SMARTBLUECITY International Conference and Exhibition.
